PEKOE, which stands for "People Expressing Kindness Over Everything," is more than just a tea company; it's a movement. Our mission is simple spread kindness and change the world, one cup of tea at a time. How? By offering you high-quality, single-origin teas sourced directly from the farm to your cup.
You might be wondering, how did this all start?
Well, rewind to a pivotal moment in Daniel's life. After a life-altering incident in 2009, he found himself reevaluating his purpose. The question lingered: "What impact do you have in this world?" Unhappy with the answer, he decided to dedicate his life to making a positive impact in the lives of others. And so, the idea of using tea as a vehicle for change was born. 
Tea became more than just a beverage; it became a passion and a symbol of transformation. In 2011, Daniel and Renata launched their first tea venture, T By Daniel, which later evolved into Daniel's Chai Bar Inc., the parent company of PEKOE.
As with most small businesses, Covid-19 presented some really tough times and Daniel's Chai Bar was no exemption.
Sadly the plans for expanding physical stores came to a hault and Renata and Daniel found themselves back at the drawing board after 13 years of building their tea dream, wondering what they could do next...
Introducing PEKOE!
PEKOE is the culmination of Daniel's story and personal mission, Renata’s focused push for sustainability and ethical partnerships, and the duo creating a Community of Kindness. It's a continuation of a journey that has seen Daniel and Renata serve tea to His Majesty King Charles III in 2017, a surreal 'Blue Moon' moment that remains a testament to their commitment of crossing borders and impacting the world through tea.
